    You will be starting your Brochure in Ms. Butler's class, by downloading and saving the Publisher template.  This copy is provided as a back-up only!


    Great Geography Database

    Use the drop down list to select your state.

    Be sure to notice and use the indexing tabs on the right side, such as: Points of Interest and IMAGES!

    IMAGES Found here have all the citation information you need.


    World Book Encyclopedia Online


    Don't forget to check the left side column for Encyclopedia Article, Sounds, Videos, SPECIAL REPORTS, and WEBSITES.  These are highly recommended websites, use them!

    Best sources for Images

    All IMAGES used in your brochure must be cited in your Noodletools works cited.  That is why it is easier to use databases for images.  Remember to SAVE images in your U:/ drive, don't just copy paste!  USE THESE SOURCES:

    NOODLETOOLS for your Bibliography

      We have a school subscription to Noodletools so this is how you will create your bibliography! Remember, you login to Noodletools just as you log into computers at school [username = lastfirst; password = ID]
      REMEMBER: Click on Create a New Project, then name it. All sources for this research paper are cited in this new Project.

    By April 7 - you should have your proposal packet mostly filled out.  If you are behind, over the weekend, use the sources on the LIBGUIDE and various tourism websites to fill in more detail for each cultural and physical feature. 

    April 10- Brochure template should be downloaded.  You will get a paper version to use as a rough draft / brocure planner.

    HOMEWORK (if you are behind) -- continue researching your state so that you know what locations will be in your itinerary and what will go on your brochure!
